2008 (FRESHMAN): Played in 29 games, starting in 21...Batted .190 with four doubles and three RBI...Went 2-for-4 with a walk and two runs scored in first collegiate game vs. Alabama-Huntsville (Feb. 1)...Had a pair of singles vs. UAH (Feb. 3).

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Edward H. White High School in Jacksonville…Lettered all four years in baseball…Batted .310 as a senior for the Commanders…Also played two seasons for Post 137 American Legion team.

PERSONAL: Son of Robert and Paula Kampfer…A business administration major…Has a brother…Lists “South Park” as his favorite television show.
