2012 (FRESHMAN): Made 12 appearances with 11 starts...Went 1-7 with a 5.55 earned run average...Tossed the staff's lone complete game...Worked 58.1 innings...Picked up first collegiate win after tossing two innings in relief at North Georgia (Mar. 17)...Made collegiate debut on Feb. 8 vs. USC Beaufort...Started that game and tossed five innings and allowed just two hits and one run...Struck out a season-high six batters vs. Wayne State (Neb.) (Mar. 3)...In his seven losses, the team averaged 1.3 runs per game.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from F.W. Buchholz High School in Gainesville, Fla....Lettered in baseball all four years and once in football...Went 3-0 with a 3.28 ERA and a .357 batting average as a senior...A two-time honorable mention All-Area selection.

PERSONAL: Son of Greg and Cathy Charleston...A sport management major...His brother, Stuart, is a junior at Shorter University and plays baseball...Lists surfing, fishing and playing Xbox as his hobbies...His favorite movie is "61"...Lists Derek Jeter as his favorite player..."Family Guy" is his favorite television show.
