2007 (JUNIOR): Made four appearances with three starts...Posted an 0-4 record with a 16.20 ERA...Went five innings and fanned three in a loss vs. Tennessee Wesleyan (Feb. 3).

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Attended Central Florida Community College in Ocala…As a sophomore, he made 15 appearances, all in relief, and posted a record of 2-1 with two saves…Tossed 25.1 innings…Played two years for Head Coach Marty Smith.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from McPherson (Kan.) High School…Lettered all four years in baseball for Head Coach Gary Peck...Earned honorable mention All-State honors as a first baseman…An All-Ark Valley League selection at first base and as a pitcher…Captained baseball team as a senior…Also lettered in football (four years) and basketball (one year).

PERSONAL: Son of Mike and Pat Deighton…A sport management major…Has an older sister…Likes to play fish and hang out with friends in his spare time…His favorite movie is “The Rock”…His favorite food is crab legs.
