Lang begins his second season on the coaching staff at Flagler College.
Before coming to Flagler, he has served as the graduate assistant at Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, Massachusetts. Lang has helped lead the team to its first conference playoff appearance in 10 years and first conference playoff win(s) since 2006. He has served primarily with the offense and outfielders. In 2019, Eastern Nazarene’s revamped offense collected more hits, home runs and runs scored dating back over a decade.
In the summer of 2018, Lang served as the head coaching job of the a team, the Niagara Power, located in Niagara Falls, New York. He led the Power to the playoffs in their inaugural year, and coached the Pitcher of the Year and numerous all-league selections.
This past summer (2019), Lang was the hitting coach for the Traverse City Pit Spitters in the Northwoods League. There he helped lead the team to a league championship. The Pit Spitters had more offensive all-stars than any other team in the prestigious 22-team league.
Prior to coaching, Lang played at Cairn University in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, where he was an All-America performer. Lang was a four-time first team all-conference selection and currently holds school records for career hits, doubles, triples, home runs, RBI, runs, games started and stolen bases.
