Brooks Calvo begins his fourth season on the coaching staff for the Saints. He assists in coaching the pitchers and serves as the bullpen coach for the Saints.
Calvo is no stranger to the Ancient city as he grew up in town and attended Allen D. Nease High School in Ponte Vedra Beach. He played two season at fellow Peach Belt Conference member, the University of South Carolina Aiken. In two seasons with the Pacers, the righty posted a 3-5 record with three saves. Calvo fanned 53 batters in 64.2 innings pitched. Prior to his time at USC Aiken, he attended South Georgia State College in Douglas where he earned his associate's degree and played baseball.
