Andrew Knight is in his first year with the Flagler baseball program.

Knight comes to Flagler after spending the previous three seasons (2018-20) at Queens University of Charlotte in North Carolina as the program’s recruiting coordinator. He was on the staff of the inaugural team in 2019. He helped the Royals have the No. 7 recruiting class by Perfect Game. Knight also helped coached two players who received postseason honors – D2CCA All-Southeast Region and All-South Atlantic Conference.

He was the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Brunswick Community College in Bolivia, North Carolina for one season (2017). He helped the Dolphins post 40 wins and finished in the top 10 in the nation in hits, doubles, home runs, and total bases. The team was 12th in the nation in runs and slugging percentage. Knight’s recruiting class went on to have an appearance in the 2018 NJCAA World Series and a regional final in 2019. One of his recruits went on to be selected in the Major League Draft.    

Knight earned his bachelor's degree in physical education from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. He earned his master's in coaching and athletics administration from the University of California, Irvine.
