Biography

2009 (JUNIOR): Played in 45 games with 43 starts...Started 19 games second base and 24 at short...Batted .314 with 50 hits, 10 doubles and a team-high three triples...Had 11 multi-hit games including the team's only four-hit games...Went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI vs. Florida Tech (Feb. 13)...Had four singles and two runs scored vs. Barry (Feb. 21)...Went 4-for-5 with two triples, two runs scored and two more driven in at Georgia Southwestern (Mar. 18)...Had three singles, three runs scored and an RBI vs. Embry-Riddle (Apr. 7). 

2008 (SOPHOMORE): Played in 33 games and started 26...Batted .211 with a pair of doubles and nine RBI...Had a pair of hits and an intentional walk vs. Northwood (Feb. 22)...Went 2-for-2 with a walk and an RBI vs. Seton Hill (Mar. 1)...His two-run double at Tampa gave Flagler a 10-9 lead (Feb. 5).

2007 (FRESHMAN): Played in 42 games and started 39...Batted .313 with five doubles, a triple, 15 RBI and 42 runs scored...Had third longest hitting streak on the team, 13 games...Went 4-for-4 with a run scored and a stolen base at Palm Beach Atlantic (Apr. 21)...Also went 2-for-5 with a double and four RBI in the first game of the doubleheader at Palm Beach Atlantic (Apr. 21)...Went 3-for-3 with a walk and two runs scored at Webber International (Apr. 3).

HIGH SCHOOL: Was home schooled…Played baseball for Clearwater High School…Lettered two years in baseball for Head Coach Doug Baker…In his career, earned team’s MVP, Defensive Player of the Year and Gatorade Awards.

PERSONAL: Son of Guy and Patti Owen…A business major…Has three sisters.
