2017 (SENIOR): Played in 32 games with 28 starts...Collected 17 hits, including two doubles...Drove in 10 runs and scored 18...Led the team with five sacrifice hits...Went 2-for-4 with a walk, scored two runs and drove in two more at No. 1 Nova Southeastern (Feb. 21)...Hit a single, a double, scored a run and drove in another at No. 29 USC Aiken (April 2)...Went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI and scored two runs vs. UNC Pembroke (April 15)...A PBC Presidential Honor Roll Presidential Scholar. 

2016 (JUNIOR): Played in 12 games with six starts...Batted .364 with eight hits, including a double, and he scored five runs...Drew seven walks...Hit two singles, drew two walks and scored a run at Georgia Southwestern (April 16)...Went 2-for-5 with a double and scored two runs vs. Francis Marion (May 6)...PBC Presidential Honor Roll Bronze Scholar.

BEFORE FLAGLER: Attended Cowley Community College in Arkansas City, Kan.

2015 (SOPHOMORE): Batted .333 with 16 hits, three doubles, 14 runs scored and 18 runs batted in...Heled lead the Tigers to a 54-5 record and a No. 1 ranking in NJCAA Division I during the season....Batted .600 during the Region 6 playoffs and helped lead the team to the final.

2014 (FRESHMAN):  Batted .324 with 24 hits, six doubles, 17 RBI and 14 runs scored...Helped the Tigers reach the Region 6 semifinals. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Middleburg (Fla.) High School...Lettered in football and baseball...Earned all-state honors as a senior...A two-time St. Johns River Athletic Conference Player of the Year...Played at Eagle's View Academy as a freshman.

PERSONAL: Son of Robert and Kimberly Bassler...Has two sisters...A criminology major.
