2019 (SENIOR): Made 13 appearances with 12 starts... Finished with a record of 2-3 with one save and a 4.96 ERA...Struck out 53 batters in 49 innings pitched...Recorded his first win after tossing eight innings with six strikeouts vs. Georgia College (April 13)...Struck out a season-high seven batters vs. UNC Pembroke (April 20).

BEFORE FLAGLER: Attended the University of Pittsburgh and Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, Florida. 

2018 (REDSHIRT JUNIOR): Started 13 games on the mound for Pitt in his first season after missing the 2017 campaign due to injury…Went 1-5 on the season in 46.1 innings pitched to go along with a 5.24 ERA and 45 strikeouts…Struck out a career-high eight batters against Seton Hall (Feb. 24) in a pitcher’s duel, allowing just four hits in six innings…Threw a career-high seven innings and struck out seven, surrendering just six hits and two earned runs at ACC-rival Miami (April 21)…Picked up a win against Virginia (April 1) after tossing five scoreless innings and giving up just two hits.

2017 (JUNIOR): Redshirted.

2016 (SOPHOMORE): Posted a 6-1 record over 12 appearances, while starting 10 games…Also picked up one save…Finished the season with 77 strikeouts and just 19 walks over 77 innings of work…Pitched 8.2 innings of one-hit ball against Miami Dade (Mar. 25) and struck out 10 batters…Struck out a career-high 13 batters against Florid State College Jacksonville (Feb. 15)…Was named the FCSAA's Pitcher of the Year.

2015 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in 14 game with 13 starts...Posted a 6-3 record with a 2.12 earned run average...Struck out 62 batters over 80.2 innings of work. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Allen D. Nease High School in Ponte Vedra, Florida... Posted a 9-0 record and 0.79 earned run average... Named first team all-county...Was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 31st Round of the 2016 Draft.

PERSONAL: Son of Randy and Jeanie Calvo...Has two brothers...A criminology major.
