Mr. Clay is the president of the Saints Advisory Board. He and his wife Pamela are dedicated corporate sponsors of Flagler Athletics. He is proud to have grown up in the “big city of Palatka”, Florida. Additionally, their eldest son attended Flagler for his freshman year, further deepening their connection to the institution. Mr. Murphy and his wife are the proud Sonny’s BBQ franchisees for St. Augustine, showcasing their commitment to the local community. He holds a deep appreciation for Flagler Athletics, particularly commending the character-based program led by Jud Damon and his staff. He admires the student-athletes for embodying these values both on the field and in their personal lives. Beyond his involvement with Flagler Athletics, Mr. Murphy enjoys flying airplanes, playing golf, and passionately following Flagler sports. These activities reflect his diverse interests and love for sports and recreation. An interesting fact about the Board’s President is that despite playing golf for over 50 years, he has never had a hole-in-one. Family holds a special place in his heart, with Mr Clay having three children and four grandsons, emphasizing the importance of relationships in his life. As a follower of Christ, he incorporates his faith into his daily life, contributing to his values and principles. He has a passion for cooking, reflecting his love for creating delicious meals and sharing them with others.

Mr. Marvin and his wife Marion made St. Augustine their home in 2021 after an extensive nationwide search for the perfect retirement location. Having been a former NCAA Division III athlete, Brian sought a quality college community that would support and enhance his retirement years. Flagler College not only met but exceeded their expectations, providing a vibrant atmosphere and a thriving athletic community. Brian's impressive career includes 32 years of active-duty service as a US Coast Guard Captain. Following his military career, he transitioned into college administration, specializing in Public Safety. Throughout both careers, Brian found time to coach basketball and lead boosters at both high school and college levels, emphasizing his dedication to sports and community engagement. One of the key aspects that drew Brian to Flagler College is the Saints' emphasis on character and sportsmanship, coupled with a commitment to maintaining competitive and exciting teams. This aligns seamlessly with his values as a former athlete and coach. In his leisure time, Brian enjoys the downtown lifestyle of St. Augustine, relishing in its great food, rich culture, and the proximity of Flagler College, all within walking distance. Additionally, he finds joy in fishing the inland waters and golfing at Marsh Creek. Brian's commitment to education is evident in his Master's Degree in Education from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. His coaching experience spans across different states, coaching basketball at Petaluma HS in California for two seasons and at the US Coast Guard Academy (D3) in New London, Connecticut, for four seasons. Notably, Brian chaired the Santa Rosa (California) Junior College Athletic Trust, supporting 16 intercollegiate sports, before joining the Flagler College Saints Club Advisory Board. While Brian has lived in 10 states during his career, he considers Charleston, Illinois, his hometown, having played high school basketball and football there before entering the military.

Edward Lombard, a proud alumnus of Flagler College, graduated in 1997. Mr. Lombard calls Neptune Beach his home, providing insight into his connection with the coastal communities of Northeast Florida. During his time at Flagler, he actively contributed to the athletic spirit by running cross country in the fall of 1994. His passion for the college and commitment to the well-being of student athletes continue to drive his involvement with Flagler Athletics. Mr. Lombard is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience. Currently serving as a Managing Partner at Raymond James, he has been actively engaged in the business world since 1999. His dedication to his career exemplifies his commitment to excellence and leadership. He holds a special appreciation for the teamwork and competitiveness displayed by Flagler's student athletes. He values the family atmosphere fostered within the athletic community, emphasizing the importance of camaraderie and shared goals. Outside of his professional and alumni commitments, Mr. Lombard enjoys the tranquility of the beach and the vibrant atmosphere of concerts at the St. Augustine Amphitheater. These leisure activities reflect his appreciation for the natural beauty and cultural offerings of the St. Augustine community. He is an active Rotarian and serves on numerous boards throughout Northeast Florida. Guided by the principle of "Service Above Self," he finds joy in contributing to the community and making a positive impact on the lives of others.

A proud alumnus, Mr. Abrams graduated from Flagler in 1980, making his bond with Flagler Athletics deeply personal. His journey from student to alum reflects a longstanding commitment to the college and its athletic pursuits. Mr. Richard Abrams, a retired former Senior Vice President of an insurance claim department, brings a depth of valuable experience from his successful career to the Flagler College community. What captivates Richard most about Flagler Athletics is the joy of witnessing the success of true student-athletes. His appreciation goes beyond the field, recognizing the dedication these individuals show both academically and athletically.In his leisure time, Richard enjoys golfing, biking, and fishing within the town. These hobbies not only showcase his active lifestyle but also reflect his love for outdoor activities offered by the charming surroundings of St. Augustine. Richard Abrams holds a special place in the Flagler College Athletic Hall of Fame, recognizing his exceptional contributions and achievements during his time as a student-athlete. Additionally, he has been honored with the Flagler College Alumni Service Award, highlighting his ongoing dedication and service to the Flagler College community even after graduation.

Mr. Albinson is a native of Dover, New Jersey, and a resident of Pinellas County, Florida since 1983. He attended Flagler College from 1975 to 1979, graduating with a BA in English and Secondary Education. During his time at Flagler, Mr. Jeff was an integral part of the baseball team, showcasing his dedication to both academics and athletics. Jeff's engagement with Flagler College extended beyond his student years. In the early and mid-90s, he played a key role on the American Airlines-sponsored exhibition basketball team, the American Eagles. Notably, Flagler College was included in their pre-season schedule, highlighting Jeff's commitment to fostering connections between the college and the broader sports community.

Professionally, Mr. Albinson is a practicing lawyer with a focus on representing professionals in malpractice and licensure matters, particularly those in the legal, insurance, and real estate sectors. His dedication to the legal profession is underscored by his achievements, including being awarded the prestigious "Barney" by the Barney Masterson Inn of Court in June 2023. This accolade recognizes his exemplary professionalism, ethics, civility, and legal excellence. Beyond his legal career, Jeff is actively involved in coaching high school baseball at Seminole HS in Pinellas. His leadership extends nationally as he was elected to serve as the National Co-Chair for the Professional Liability Section of the Council on Litigation Management, the largest industry association for the defense of insured claims. Mr. Albinson values the college's consistent production of competitive teams with a rich history of sportsmanship. His legacy is marked by a dedication to integrity, sportsmanship, and community engagement.

Sherri hails from Keystone Heights, Florida, bringing a touch of hometown pride to her illustrious journey. Sherri's connection with Flagler Athletics traces back to her years as a student-athlete from 1978 to 1982. A basketball and softball player on scholarship, Sherri's impact was monumental, contributing to the state championship in basketball during the 1978-79 season. Her dedication didn't end there; she later transitioned into coaching, leading the softball team for seven years and basketball for two. In recognition of her outstanding contributions, Sherri was inducted into the Flagler College Hall of Fame in 2011, solidifying her place among the college's athletic legends. Sherri continued her involvement by joining the Saints Advisory Board in 2012.

Sherri's professional journey started as a Physical Education teacher in St. Johns County in 1982, she taught at all three levels—elementary, middle, and high school—until 1995. Subsequently, she took on the role of the Dean of Students at Landrum Middle School, where she served until 2024.

Beyond the classroom, Sherri's coaching prowess shines through her impressive 39-year tenure coaching basketball at Nease High School, where she recently celebrated her 700th win. Notably, she led her team to victory in the 1998-99 5A State Championship in girls' basketball.

Sherri Anthony values the sense of team family and community support in Flagler Athletics, finding camaraderie both on and off the field impactful. Her achievements extend beyond athletics, including Teacher of the Year (2008-09), National High School Coach of the Year (2019), FABC Hall of Fame and Beaches Legend induction, and recognition as one of Flagler College's Distinguished Alumni. Further, she achieved National High School Athletic Coaches Association Hall of Fame induction in 2020 and received the Flagler College Professional Achievement Award in 2023.

Andrew Birchall is a seasoned professional in the St. Augustine real estate scene, boasting more than two decades of dedicated service in the field.

His journey began after graduating from Flagler College in 1997, when he joined St. Augustine Realty in 1998. Since then, Andrew has become deeply ingrained in both the real estate market and the community he serves. Throughout his career, Andrew has earned a reputation for his expertise and commitment to excellence. His achievements include being named Realtor® Of The Year in 2012 and serving as the Past President of the St. Augustine / St. Johns County Board of Realtors® from 2014 to 2015.

Additionally, he has been actively involved in various professional organizations, including the Florida Realtors Board of Directors and the St. Augustine / St. Johns County Multiple Listing Service.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Andrew remains deeply engaged in the St. Augustine community. He is an active member of the St. Augustine American Cancer Society Board of Directors and the Ancient City Road Runners, demonstrating his commitment to giving back and making a positive impact.

As a St. Augustine Realtor, Andrew brings a wealth of experience and local knowledge to his clients. With a focus on delivering exceptional service and results, he continues to be a trusted advisor in the real estate market, ensuring his clients receive the highest level of support and guidance throughout their buying or selling journey.

Al Bohl

Mr. Bohl is a native of Vermilion, Ohio, and earned his bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University in 1970. Subsequently, he completed a master’s in education from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1973 and a Ph.D. from The Ohio State University in 1978.

For several years, he taught at Flagler College, establishing connections with esteemed figures such as President Abare, President Joyner, AD Jud Damon, and Assistant AD Joey Wiles. “Their exceptional character and integrity left a lasting impression on me,” he said.

With an extensive career in athletic administration, he began as an Assistant Athletic Director at Ohio State. He then transitioned to the University of Toledo, Fresno State , and later on to the University of Kansas, providing leadership for athletic programs nationwide for nearly 25 years as an Athletic Director. His favorite part about Flagler Athletics is the joy of interacting with student-athletes, both on and off the playing fields or courts. Mr. Bohl has received several accomplishments.

He was inducted into the Vermilion (Ohio) High School Hall of Fame in 2006.

Honored as a member of the Erie County (Ohio) Gallery of Achievers in 2007.

Inducted into the Bowling Green State University Rugby Hall of Fame in 2008.

Author of two novels, "Back Porch Swing" and "Getting to Thanksgiving."

Ms. Patty Canakaris, a seasoned advocate for education and athletics, brings a wealth of experience and passion to the Saints Advisory Board. Raised in Daytona Beach and with a major in Physical Education, Patty's career seamlessly blended her love for sports and community service. Post-retirement in 1988, she served as a Volunteer Administrator for the DeKalb County Cooperative Extension Service and later as the Executive Director of The Atlanta Clean City Commission under Mayor Andrew Young. Ms. Patty's commitment to environmental education earned her the prestigious Environmental Educator of the Year award from the Soil Conservation Service, thanks to her work directing a transformative week-long workshop for teachers. In the late 1980s, Patty relocated to St. Augustine, where chance encounters with Flagler Baseball games led to her involvement with the Saints Club, at the invitation of Coach Barnett. Inspired by Flagler College's mission, she embraced the goal of attracting students of character seeking a quality education intertwined with competitive college athletics. Her dedication to community service continued in St. Augustine, where she played a pivotal role in securing a $3,000,000 grant for The Office of Children and Families through grant writing and advocacy. Flagler Baseball recognized Patty's outstanding contributions, honoring her with the prestigious Red Cox Award. Her journey from Daytona Beach to St. Augustine has spanned 34 years, and she remains a proud and integral part of the vibrant community she now calls home.

Mr. Frank Clark, a dedicated member of the Saints Club Advisory Board of Directors, is a stalwart supporter of Flagler Men's and Women's Tennis, embodying a passion for both the sport and the success of Flagler Athletics. Residing in his home state of West Virginia, Frank is a partner in an employee benefits company, bringing a wealth of expertise to his professional endeavors. Frank's love for Flagler Athletics extends to all sports teams, with a particular focus on Men's and Women's Tennis. As a tennis enthusiast himself, he finds joy in following and supporting the achievements of these teams, exemplifying his dedication to the athletic success of the college.Tennis isn't just a favorite sport for Frank; it's also his preferred hobby. His involvement in high school tennis coaching showcases his hands-on commitment to the development of young athletes, further underscoring his love for the sport.

Beyond his contributions to Flagler and the athletic community, Frank has earned recognition for his service and leadership. As a past President and Paul Harris Fellow of the Fairmont, West Virginia Rotary Club, he has demonstrated a commitment to community service and the Rotary Club's mission. Frank holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from West Virginia University, graduating in 1969.An interesting fact about him is that he was born on St. Patrick's Day in 1946.

Marco Coleman, a former standout player at Georgia Tech and a distinguished NFL veteran, returned to his alma mater in 2023 as the Defensive Line Coach for the Yellow Jackets. A two-time first-team All-American during his collegiate career, Coleman's achievements include contributing to Georgia Tech's national championship win in 1990. In the NFL, he played for 14 seasons, earning honors such as Sports Illustrated's NFL Rookie of the Year and a Pro Bowl selection. After retiring from professional football, Coleman pursued a successful career in finance before transitioning back to football coaching. With coaching stints at various levels, including Michigan State University and the NFL, Coleman brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role at Georgia Tech, where he mentors and inspires the next generation of football talent. He resides with his wife, Katrina, and their three children: Kabrione, Kennedy, and Kenneth. Beyond his on-field achievements, Marco Coleman has always been deeply committed to giving back to the community that has supported him throughout his career. He has been actively involved in various charitable endeavors, leveraging his platform to uplift and empower those in need.

Director of Athletics at Flagler

Damon earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in sport management from the University of Massachusetts. He was inducted into the University of Pennsylvania Baseball Hall of Fame in 2001 as an individual and in 2008 as a member of Penn’s 1988, 1989, and 1990 Ivy League championship teams.

Before Flagler Damon served as the athletics director at fellow Peach Belt Conference member institution Georgia College & State University (GCSU) in 2008-09. He served in the same capacity at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) from 2000-2008. He also served as the athletics director and head baseball coach at Trinity International University in Miami from 1997-2000.

In his stint at Georgia College, GCSU won its first-ever Peach Belt Conference Commissioner’s Cup while also landing more student-athletes on the PBC Presidential Honor Roll than any other member institution. That same year, nine-of-10 teams competed in NCAA postseason competition. Six-of-the-seven team sports produced winning records, with all but one finishing in the top three in the Peach Belt Conference.

In his eight years at SCAD, Damon saw 112 teams appear in the postseason. SCAD finished in the Top 20 of the NACDA Director’s Cup standings in each of Damon’s last four years there -- including an eighth place finish in 2007-08. He also led SCAD’s transition from NCAA Division III to the NAIA and membership in The Sun Conference (formerly known as the Florida Sun Conference) in 2003-04. In 2003, SCAD’s athletics department was honored at the NCAA National Convention with the Josten’s/National Association of Division III Athletic Administrators Community Service Award. His emphasis on student-athlete academic achievement led to over 100 student-athletes earning Academic All-District, Academic All-America, or Scholar-Athlete during Damon’s tenure.

He began his career in collegiate athletics as an assistant baseball coach at UMass-Amherst, from 1990 to 1992. Prior to accepting his position at Trinity, Damon served as assistant general manager of minor league franchises in the Montreal Expos and Pittsburgh Pirates organizations for one year each and was a faculty member and head baseball coach at Miami Christian for three years. In 1998, he guided the Trinity International baseball team to the National Christian College Athletic Association National Tournament and set school records for wins in 1999 and 2000.

Jeffrey Davitt

Assistant Director of Development at Flagler

Jeff graduated from Flagler College with a sports management and business administration degree, coordinated part of the volunteer effort for Super Bowl XXXIX in Jacksonville (2005), and then worked in the Miami Dolphins' community relations office. He returned to Flagler College in 2008 to coordinate the annual giving initiative. In 2012, he became a Development Officer, and in 2018, he was promoted to Director of Development.

Jeff earned an MBA degree from the University of North Florida in 2012 and became a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) in 2013. In 2016, he served as the president of the local chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and currently sits on the board as the vice president for communications.

Athletics Operations and External Relations Coordinator

Peter DellaVecchia is in his first year as the athletics operations and external relations coordinator at Flagler College.

DellaVecchia comes to Flagler from the Veritas Classical School where he was the athletic director and served as a classroom teacher for close to 17 years.

DellaVecchia earned his bachelor's in elementary education from the University of Central Florida. Having always been interested in administration, he later returned to Stetson University where he earned his master’s in educational leadership. During his tenure as a teacher, he has had the opportunity to teach all grades from kindergarten to 12th grade at a variety of different schools as well as online. In addition to an extensive career as an educator, DellaVecchia has also coached both boys and girls lacrosse at multiple levels and he is a high school and collegiate men’s lacrosse official with over 15 years of experience. Coach D., as most of his students and athletes call him, is excited about the opportunity to positively impact students through physical education in the Athletics Department.

Originally from Mt. Vernon, New York, DellaVecchia lived most of his life in Palm Coast, Florida. He resides in St. Augustine with his wife and their two children, both of whom attend Veritas. When he is not teaching or officiating, he enjoys mountain biking and spending time at the beach with his family.

Marty Fiorentino's connection to Flagler Athletics runs deep through his son Martin, who works within the Athletics Department. While originally from Jacksonville, Marty now resides in St. Johns, FL, where he has found a sense of home and community. Mr. Fiorentino’s support for the department extends beyond familial ties, as he recognizes and values the culture that has been cultivated within Flagler Athletics. Mr. Fiorentino is the President of The Fiorentino Group, a distinguished government relations and business development firm. His extensive professional background includes serving as Counsel for the law firm of Holland and Knight, as well as special counsel to CSX. Previously, he held the role of Vice President of Corporate Communications and Public Affairs for CSX Transportation. Marty's appreciation for Flagler Athletics stems from the exceptional culture fostered within the department. He admires the values of teamwork, dedication, and excellence that are prevalent among athletes and staff, contributing to the overall success of the program. When not immersed in his professional endeavors, Marty enjoys indulging in the diverse culinary scene that St. Augustine has to offer. Marty Fiorentino is proud to call Jacksonville his hometown, where his roots are deeply embedded in the local community. He served as a political appointee in the administration of President George H.W. Bush, highlighting his involvement in national affairs. Marty's leadership extends to various organizations, including serving as the former Chairman of the Board of the Jacksonville Port Authority, where he made significant contributions to the region's economic development. His philanthropic efforts have not gone unnoticed, as he was honored with the Annual Philanthropy Day Award by the local chapter of the National Society of Fund-Raising Executives for his work as Chairman of the Baptist Health System Foundation in 1987. Mr. Fiorentino's influence extends statewide, as evidenced by his recognition as one of the "Florida 500," a prestigious group of the 500 most influential executives in the state, according to Florida Trend Magazine.

Flagler College Alumnus, Class of December 2009. Proudly hailing from Mayo, Florida, Ms. Gaver cherishes her roots as a farmer's daughter, growing up in a rural, farming town. As a proud alumna of Flagler College, graduating in December 2009, Ms. Courtney Gaver's connection to Flagler Athletics runs deep. During her undergraduate years, she contributed her passion for sports as a member of the Flagler College Dance Team. Her enthusiasm for supporting the home team and her love for sports continue to shine, making her a dedicated member of the Flagler College community. Ms. Gaver is an accomplished attorney at Rogers Towers, P.A., Jacksonville's oldest law firm. Specializing as a "dirt lawyer," she represents clients involved in the acquisition, entitlement, development, sale, and finance of commercial, industrial, and residential real estate. For Ms. Gaver, the joy of providing her children with the opportunity to witness NCAA athletics in their hometown is unparalleled. She appreciates the unique sports culture at Flagler College and is delighted by the addition of sports such as the lacrosse team since her graduation. Ms. Gaver hopes that exposing her children to collegiate sports from an early age will cultivate in them the same love for sports that she holds dear. A self-proclaimed foodie, Ms. Gaver and her husband thoroughly enjoy exploring St. Augustine's diverse culinary scene. Before pursuing her legal career, she worked as a producer for Good Morning Jacksonville at First Coast News. Her journey started as an intern during the 2008 primary and general elections while attending Flagler. Unconventionally, Ms, Gaver does not possess a traditional high school diploma. Opting for homeschooling during her last two years of high school, she dual-enrolled in classes at the local community college. Her academic prowess secured her a spot at Flagler College through early decision.

Bill Hughes currently calls South Carolina home, bringing a touch of southern charm to his life. A proud parent, Bill's connection to Flagler College Athletics runs deep. His son, Chip, and daughter, Kelsey, both played college golf at Flagler College, reflecting a family legacy within the athletic community. In his professional life, Hughes serves as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and General Manager at the Country Club of the Rockies, showcasing his leadership and expertise within the golf and country club industry. What resonates most with Bill about Flagler Athletics is the family atmosphere and caring culture. This sentiment underscores the strong sense of community and support within Flagler's athletic programs. Golf holds a special place in Bill's heart, being not only a professional pursuit but also a favorite hobby. His passion for the game reflects his connection to the golfing world both personally and professionally.

Bill Hughes is a decorated professional, having received several notable awards:

In 2014, he was honored as the PGA North Flomo's Section PGA Professional Of The Year.

His induction into the Lima/Allen County Golf Hall of Fame in 2014 further highlights his impact on the golfing community.

Bill was the proud recipient of the National PGA of America Bill Strausbaugh Award in 2015.

In 2017, he was acknowledged by the Association of Fundraising Professionals, First Coast Chapter, as the Florida Volunteer of the Year.

The year 2023 brought another accolade as he received the Colorado PGA Patriot Award, recognizing his exceptional contributions to the golfing community.

Chris is the Director of Consumer and Small Business Banking for SouthState Bank. He is responsible for leading the Consumer Bank performance of the bank’s six state branch banking network (Florida, Georgia, Alabama, the Carolinas and Virginia), including 248 locations with more than 2,400 employees who serve more than 1,766,000 customers. In addition to branch sales, service, and operations, Chris’ team manages consumer loan and deposit account products, credit cards, bank wide sales campaigns, the company’s Small Business Banking Division and the Dealer Division, which includes Marine and Manufactured Housing. Chris attended Wheaton College where he obtained dual bachelor’s degrees in political science and economics. He is also a graduate of the School of Banking at LSU. Chris has been with SouthState since 2016 and previously served in the role of Florida State President for the First Coast and East Central divisions. Prior to joining SouthState, he was Market President for Ameris Bank for three years and was at Prosperity Bank for 10 years prior to that where he served as Chief Lending Officer.

Richard Keller's journey is marked by a dynamic career and a commitment to education. Graduating from Saint Anselm College in 1969, he embarked on a successful path with the Seagrams Company, initially joining their Marketing Training Program at A.Asch Marketing Research. His exceptional leadership led to promotions, first as the Texas State Manager, transforming it from the company's worst market to a top-ten position. Richard continued his success as the Florida State Manager, elevating the state to the number one market in the country. Further accolades followed as he became the Empire Regional Manager, overseeing Metro and Upstate NY, and New Jersey. His trajectory led him to the National Office at 375 Park Avenue, where he assumed various leadership roles. Post-Seagrams, Richard transitioned to Diageo, the world's largest distiller, contributing his expertise to a global scale. In 1987, after a heart attack, Richard shifted gears, dedicating 15 years to teaching English, Public Speaking, and Economics at Pinkerton Academy, impacting the lives of 3,500 students. Following his teaching career, he retired to St. Augustine, Florida, where he enjoyed the fruits of his labor alongside his wife, Kathleen Keller. Together, they proudly raised three sons, embodying a legacy of achievement, resilience, and a dedication to both corporate success and the nurturing of young minds.

Mr. Riggs was born and raised in Sheffield, Illinois, a quaint farming community in north-central Illinois with a population of 850, Mr. Riggs remains grounded in his roots while contributing to the success and vibrancy of Flagler Athletics. Mr. Riggs’ journey with Flagler began in the mid-1980s when he started attending basketball games shortly after relocating from Illinois. Over the years, his involvement and passion for the sports programs led to an invitation to join the FSAB in 2022. A seasoned professional in financial and operations management, Mr. Riggs dedicated his career to multiple manufacturing companies before embarking on a well-deserved retirement. What Mr. Riggs enjoys most about Flagler Athletics is the thrill of competition across various sports programs. His love for attending games extends beyond Flagler to local high schools, where he finds joy in witnessing young athletes evolve into leaders within their communities. In his leisuretime, he indulges in reading books and blogs that delve into the realms of technology and physics. Originating from a blue-collar family in the Midwest, Mr. Riggs initially had no plans for college. However, with encouragement from teachers and friends, he took a different path that ultimately altered the course of his life. His commitment to education and achievement was recognized in 2022 when he was selected to the College of Business Hall of Fame at Illinois State University. Mr. Riggs and his spouse, Deb, are proud members of the 1857 Society at Illinois State University.

Ken Russon, a proud native of St. Augustine, considers the historic town his hometown. With a distinguished career spanning both military service and financial leadership in academia, Mr. Russon has left an indelible mark on his community. Mr. Russon served in the United States Marine Corps from 1964 to 1991. His dedication and service included a tour of duty in Vietnam from 1968 to 1969. His military background instilled in him values of discipline, integrity, and commitment, qualities that he carried into his subsequent professional endeavors. From 1995 to 2014, Mr. Russon served as the Chief Financial Officer at Flagler College, where his financial acumen and strategic leadership played a pivotal role in the institution's success.

One of Mr. Russon's great passions is Flagler College Athletics. During his 19-year tenure as CFO, he witnessed and appreciated the high standards and quality of leadership within the department. He particularly admires the commitment to excellence set by the Athletic Director, “who consistently establishes lofty goals for the departmen”. The dedication to achieving these high standards is something Mr. Russon finds both impressive and inspiring.

Outside of his professional life, Mr. Russon remains actively engaged in his community. He generously supports his local church and participates in various civic organizations, and is involved with the Military Officers’ Association. A man of unique achievements, Mr. Russon's athletic prowess is showcased by his time playing football at Florida State University from 1959 to 1962. Notably, he played in the historic first FSU vs UF game that did not end in a loss, with the final score being 3-3 in 1961.

Bill Schlegel and his spouse Kathy, have chosen to retire in the area, finding joy in attending and supporting the high-level college sports showcased by Flagler Athletics.

Their connection is driven by a genuine love for the games and the vibrant sports community at Flagler.

Bill is from Troy, New York where he lived until setting off for college. A mechanical engineering graduate from Lehigh University, Schlegel built a distinguished career at Alcan Aluminum, later Novelis, contributing his skills to engineering, technology, and management.

Bill's favorite thing about Flagler Athletics is the personal interaction with the teams, particularly in tennis, where he can truly get to know the players, coaches and other fans.

Outside of his involvement with Flagler Athletics, Bill enjoys playing tennis several days a week out on the island. This hobby not only aligns with his love for sports but also contributes to an active and healthy lifestyle.

Bill Schlegel's athletic prowess extends beyond the college arena, having played football at Lehigh and being drafted by the Memphis Southmen in the World Football League.

Bill's international experience includes working in Korea, where he earned the honorary citizenship of Ulsan. The mayor of the city bestowed upon him a gold key to the city, recognizing his contributions and impact.

Amy Upchurch is a former tennis player for Flagler College who now serves as the Founder and CEO of Pink Stork, a women's wellness company. She values the sense of community and support within Flagler Athletics and enjoys spending time at the beach with her six children in St. Augustine.

Amy has been recognized as one of Florida's top women leaders, and Pink Stork has received several awards, including being named a company to watch in 2021 and winning the St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce's Small Business of the Year. Additionally, Amy is a passionate advocate for inclusivity and diversity, particularly as the mother of a son with Down syndrome. Her roots are deeply connected to St. Augustine, where she continues to contribute to the community's well-being.
