2018 (FRESHMAN): Competed in four meets...Recorded a season-best time in the 3000-meter run of 11:47.25 at the UNC Open (Feb. 3).

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from William J. Palmer High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado...Lettered in cross country and track all four years...Earned second-team all-conference honors...Finished in the top 15 in all of her races...Ran a pr of 20:11 at 6,400-foot elevation...Received the Pikes Peak Road Runner Scholarship....A three-time CHSSA All-Academic first-team selection...Earned second-team all-conference honors as a junior...An honorable mention all-conference member as a sophomore.

CLUB: Trained under renowned coach Lisa Rainsberger, the last American woman to win the Boston Marathon...Also trained with other top runners in the Colorado Springs area.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Peter and Tina Horwitch...Has a sister...An international studies/communications major.
