MONTEVALLO, Ala. - The Flagler College men's lacrosse won their first ever Peach Belt Conference title this afternoon after defeating University of Montevallo 14-12.
This win secures Flagler an automatic bid into the NCAA Regional tournament. Elevating to 10-5, the Saints are 5-1 against conference opponents. Montevallo dropped to 9-7 and 5-1 against conference opponents.

Ty Scheckenbach were named to the All-Tournament Team.
A slow start to the day, Flagler trailed by three heading into halftime. Filling out an eight goal run, Flagler shutout the Falcons in the third to go up 12-9. As a team, the Saints were outpaced by the Saints in most categories except turnovers. Montevallo finished with 17, with the Saints having a hand in nine. Six Saints recorded one while Peyton Maxwell led the team with two. Scheckenbach and
Will Linko finished with a team high four ground balls, followed by Maxwell and Lynch who had three. Lynch was the frontman for the Sains faceoff, winning seven of his 14 attempts.
The senior trio of McDonald,
Griffin Moore and
Ben Nyberg led the Saints offense yet again. With another five point game, McDonald tallied four goals and an assist. Moore was the last to notch a hat trick, finding one assist in the mix. Nyberg and Dempsey Gibbs each tallied two goals.
