INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Flagler College women's golf team is ranked No. 7 according to the second of three published NCAA Division II regional rankings, which came out Friday afternoon. The final published ranking will occur on April 10.
Selections for regional competition will be on April 26 and the South Regional will be played May 4-6 at the Cleveland Country Club in Cleveland, Tennessee. Eighteen (18) teams in the east, central, south and west regions; along with six individuals, not on those teams, will compete at regionals. The low five (5) teams in the east and west regionals and the low four (4) teams in the central and south regional; along with the low two (2) individuals, not on those teams, will advance to the finals.
Wingate University and Anderson University top the 20-team ranking. Barry University, Lynn University, and Nova Southeastern University are in the next three spots. Lander University is ranked No. 6, one spot ahead of Flagler. Lee University, the University of North Georgia, and the University of Tampa round out the top 10.
Flagler is ranked No. 11 according to the latest SCOREBOARD by clippd national rankings, which were released last Wednesday.
Henriette Stranda is ranked No. 3 while
Tabitha Hanely is ranked No. 47, and
Sofia Terzoli is No. 58.
