ST. AUGUSTINE –

Flagler honored its seniors before the game –

Flagler closed out the regular season with a 17-11 overall record and an 11-9 Peach Belt record. That left Flagler in a tie for fifth place with Georgia College, but Flagler wins the tiebreaker. GCSU dropped to 16-12 overall and 11-9 in conference play. Flagler will take on USC Beaufort on March 4 at Bluffton, South Carolina at a time to be determined.
The Saints lad by as many as 18 points early on, but used a 19-6 run early in the second half to put the Bobcats away. A Cam James three-pointer got Georgia College to within six (34-28) with 18:59 left to go in the game. They hadn't been that close since the 10:51 mark in the first half. Hicks made a pair of three pointers to get the Saints offense ignited.
Reeves added 12 points for Flagler while
Aidan Harris came off the bench to provide 10 points.
Melvin Teal contributed nine points and six rebounds.
James and Gabe Bolden each scored 14 points for GCSU.
The Bobcats struggled from outside making only 19.2 percent of their shots (5-for-26).
