INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - In the opening match of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division II Indoor National Championship, No. 4 ranked Flagler College women's tennis team fell to No. 5 University of West Alabama 4-1 this morning at the USTA Midwest Tennis Center.

Falling to 1-2 on the season, the Saints will face the loser of the Barry University - University of Indianapolis match at 10 a.m. on Saturday. West Alabama advances to 3-1 and will compete in the semifinal round of the tournament.

In the lone win of the match, No. 36 Elena Ondobo triumphed against No. 6 Alexa Milliam 7-6(7-2), 6-3. This is Ondobo's first ranked win of the spring and first top-10 win of her career. Due to minimal courts, Marie Fairer and Lea Jakic were unable to begin their matches.
