LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Flagler College men's lacrosse team slipped one spot to No. 18 in the latest United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association's (USILA) Division II Top 20 poll that was released Monday.
Flagler holds a 1-2 record. The Saints are coming off a heart-breaking 8-7 loss to then-No. 2 University of Tampa last Saturday.
The Saints remain the only school from the Peach Belt Conference to be nationally ranked. Lander University and the University of Montevallo received votes.
Adelphi University (2-0) tops the poll again as it received 17 first-place votes. The University of Tampa (4-0) holds a No. 2 and earned one first-place vote. Saint Anselm College (0-0) remains at No. 3. Maryville University (2-0) moved up to No. 4 and Seton Hill University (1-0) rounds out the top five.
Flagler hosts Palm Beach Atlantic University tonight.
