AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference has announced its weekly honors on Monday afternoon, and Flagler women's golfer Sofia Terzoli has been named PBC Women's Golfer of the Week. Terzoli becomes the second Saint this season to earn weekly honors after Kalia Polete was named golfer of the week on October 5.

"Our first team win of the season, and Sofia led the way," said Flagler golf head coach Santiago Cavanagh. "We are so proud of the player and person that she is. She has been a rock for this team both on and of the course, and we could not be happier for her!"

Terzoli led Flagler to the 2026 Newberry Invitational title last week. The sophomore was crowned the individual champion after shooting a 71, 71, and 72 to finish two-under par for the tournament. The title was the first of her career, and second tournament podium appearance.

Through three fall tournaments, Terzoli has been a consistent presence with a pair of top five finishes. The Baveno, Italy ranks No. 15 nationally and has helped the Saints to a No. 6 national ranking in the latest Scoreboard Powered by Clippd National Rankings.

Flagler will return to the course on Monday, October 26^th as the Saints host the Flagler Fall Slam at Marsh Creek Country Club.
