AUGUSTA, Ga. - Abigail Misch of the Flagler College women's track team was selected as the Peach Belt Conference Runner of the Week this afternoon, according to conference officials.

In her season debut, Misch was top finisher in the 800 meter run while competing at the Alachua County Invitational. In her race, Misch competed against athletes from but not limited to, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, University of Central Florida and Florida Southern College.

Finishing in a time of 2:09.02, Misch not only set a new personal record but ran the fifth fastest time this season in Division II. Misch's first place finish was 3.71 seconds faster than her nearest competition.
