ST. AUGUSTINE - The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) ranked the Flagler College men's tennis team at No. 3 in this year's Division II preseason tennis rankings, released on Wednesday, Jan. 14 by organization officials.
The Saints ended their 2025 campaign as Peach Belt Conference champions, where they advanced to the second round of the NCAA Southeast Regional tournament. To get there, the Saints pulled off a 20-3 overall record, with 16 of those being against ranked opponents.
Maintaining a bulk of their roster from last season, the Saints returned four of their starting six in singles. Simon Malis enters the spring season ranked No. 27 in singles, followed closely by Ilian Borlee at No. 29. Regionally, Filip Kana and freshman Raphael Rousson enter ranked, with Kana at No. 11 and Rousson at No. 19.
The Saints will open their regular season off, home, against Belmont Abbey College on Feb. 6 at 2 p.m.
