VALDOSTA, Ga. - True freshman Jack Waters led the Flagler College men's cross country team to a first place team finish at the Valdosta State University Border Clash Friday night.
The VSU Border Clash featured a pool of 46 total runners. The Saints had five top 10 finishes - one, three, four, seven and 10.  In his first collegiate race, Waters individually won the race with a time of 25:10.1.
Luke Larkin earned a third place finish not far behind Waters, with a time of 26:10.4.
Logan Burch,
Joshua Sea and
Ben Youngs rounded out the top 10 as Burch picked up a fourth place finish in 25:18.9. Sea took seventh in 26:05.2 while Youngs earned tenth in a time of 26:43.3.
The Saints will hit the course again on Sept. 20 where they will take on the Bulldog Stampede, hosted by Wingate University.
