AUGUSTA, Ga. - Flagler College setter Clare Sheedy was named the Peach Belt Conference Specialist of the Week for the period ending Sept. 14.

In four matches, Sheedy led the Saints in assists with 157. In the matches against Ashland University and Lenior-Rhyne University she recorded her second and third double-doubles of the season with 42 assists and 10 digs against the Eagles and 43 assists and 11 digs against the Bears. Sheedy had season highs in aces, digs and blocks this past weekend. Her season high blocks came against Newberry College where she registered five. Against the Bears, Sheedy registered three aces and 11 digs.
