Saints cap off "Senior Night" with a sweep

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - Clare Sheedy sent the Flagler College volleyball team into a 3-0 (25-20, 25-17, 25-11) sweep against Middle Georgia State University today at the Flagler Gymnasium.

Moving to a 18-11 overall and 11-2 in conference record, the Saints added onto their now 10 match win streak, their longest since 2021. The Knights fell to 0-13 in conference and 6-19 overall. Next week, the Saints will compete twice against Lander University for the fate of the Peach Belt Conference regular season.

Topping off her last career home regular season match, Sheedy finished with yet another match high assists with 40. Sheedy also tied her career best in aces with four, a mark she set earlier this season against the Knights. Following in the senior stardom was Cassidy Bloom who posted a double-double, her first since Oct. 10. Bloom finished with a match high 15 digs and tied Katherine Rank in kills with 10. Rank had a match high four blocks, with a solo block sealing the Saints win tonight.

Caitlyn Wolf and Ellison Johnson were the backbone of the Knights. Wolf led the visitors in kills with seven and aces with one. Johnson recorded a double-double with her team high 10 assists and 13 digs.
