DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — The Flagler College women's cross country team finished in third out of 10 teams at the Embry-Riddle XC Classic this morning. The 5-kilometer course was set at the ERAU Soccer Stadium.
Leading the way for the Saints was junior
Sam Gayton with a 15
th place finish and a time of 20:51.8.
Tori Mills (22:03.9) and
Madeline Rodriguez (22:13.3) were right outside the top 25, finishing in 26
th and 28
th. Three freshmen finished within the top 50,
Catie Ingoldsby (22:51.3),
Isabella Sibbrell (23:21.3) and
Vivian Brezler (23:46.0) placed 32
nd, 34
thand 39
th respectively.
The Saints return to the course on Sept. 29 as they travel to Tallahassee, Fla. for the FSU Invitational.
