ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Florida Southern College won the last two singles matches to rally past No. 4 (ITA Collegiate Division II rankings) Flagler College 4-3 in a non-conference men's tennis match Saturday afternoon at the Wynee Warden Tennis Center.
Florida Southern improved to 4-3 while Flagler is 2-3.
The Mocs won all three doubles matches to take an early 1-0 lead.
Philipp Lemken's win at No. 5 squared the match at 1-all. Nikita Tayanin and
Fernando Bulnes won in straight sets to give Flagler a 3-2 lead. Florida Southern won a pair of three-setters at Nos. 2 and 3 to win the match.
Flagler hosts Palm Beach Atlantic University on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Flagler Tennis Center.
