KANSAS CITY, Mo. — For the third week in a row, the Flagler College women's soccer team stayed atop the NCAA Division II United Soccer Coaches poll, which was released Tuesday by the organization.

The Saints, who have a 4-0 record thus far, opened their Peach Belt Conference schedule Saturday with a 5-1 win over Clayton State University. The victory over the Lakers extended the Saints' unbeaten streak to 39 regular-season matches, which dates back to the 2019 season. Flagler was led by Annie Habeeb, who found the back of the net twice, at the ninth minute as well as the 66th. She also assisted on a goal from Lorena Lopez in the 50th minute. Habeeb's performance garnered her PBC Player of the Week honors, which puts her alongside teammates Josefine Nilsen and Brin Wexler in earning those honors early on in the season.

Joining Flagler in the top five are Grand Valley State University, who maintained its spot at two, College of Saint Rose who also was static at three, while Kutztown University moved up one spot to four and Emporia State broke into the top five, landing at fifth.

The Saints return to action when they welcome Young Harris College to Saints Field for their second conference match. A complete rankings list can be found HERE.
