PEMBROKE, N.C. –
Gedi Juozapaitis scored a game-high 22 points, 15 of which came in the second half, but Flagler College was defeated by UNC Pembroke 93-69 in a Peach Belt Conference men's basketball game Wednesday night at Lumbee Guaranty Bank Court.

Damir Hadzic got Flagler (11-10 overall, 7-6 PBC) to within one point (28-27) with 5:30 left in the first half.
Micah Kinsey answered with a layup on the next possession for UNC Pembroke (17-4, 11-2), which sparked a 16-3 run over the next four-plus minute and the Braves would take a 44-34 lead into the half.
UNC Pembroke, which shot 58.1 percent in the first half, continued its hot shooting the second half (52.6 percent). The Braves also sank 13-of-16 from the free throw line. UNCP forced 18 Flagler turnovers and cashed them in for 29 points.
Juozapaitis added six rebounds and four assists to his line for the Saints.
Derrick Ellis, Jr. scored all 14 of his points in the first half.
Damerit Brown contributed 13 points and seven rebounds.
Akia Pruitt and David Strother each scored 19 points for the Braves. Jordan Ratliffe added 13 points and five rebounds while Spencer Levi came off the bench to provide 12 points and eight rebounds. Pruitt grabbed a game-high nine rebounds.
Flagler plays host to Augusta University on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at Flagler Gymnasium.
