ROME, Ga. – The weekend at the ITA Cup wrapped up today at the Rome Tennis Center. Flagler College's first NCAA Division II era tennis player
Eden Schlagenhauf posted a 1-2 record against some of the best players in the nation at the D2 level.
She opened up the tournament on Friday against the No. 3 seed Jil Engelmann of Barry University. Schlagenhauf lost that match 6-4 and 6-2.
On Friday, she lost to Ashley Pershon of St. Mary's University of Texas 6-2 and 6-3 in a consolation round match.
Just before the rain came on Friday, Schlagenhauf defeated Maja Makal of Queens College (N.Y.) 6-1 and 6-2.
Schalgenhauf and her teammate will conclude their fall season with the Barry Fall Invitational Nov. 8-10 at Miami Shores, Florida.
