ST. AUGUSTINE – Flagler College seniors Maddie Erwin, Raquel Kulak, and Tara Savisky all played key roles in a 3-1 (25-22, 26-28, 25-21, 25-12) victory over the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in the regular season finale Saturday afternoon at Flagler Gymnasium.

Flagler closes out the regular season on a two-match winning streak and improved to 12-14 overall and 6-6 in the Peach Belt. The Saints will be the No. 4 seed in next weekend's conference tournament at Greenwood, South Carolina. UNC Pembroke ended its season with a 10-21 overall record and a 0-12 mark in league play.

All three were honored for their careers before the match.

Flagler trailed early (7-2), but scrapped its way back to knot the score at 10. A pair of Hall kills broke up an 18-all tie and the Saints went on to a 25-22 win.

The second set saw the Braves hit .529 with 21 kills and three errors on 34 swings. There were 11 ties and six lead changes in the set. Flagler had its first set point (24-23) after a Jones hitting error and a second at 26-25 after a kill by Redfern. Three consecutive kills by the Braves (Bean, Skryd, and Ashley Caesar) won the set for UNCP. Four Braves collected four kills each.
