AUGUSTA, Ga. – Flagler College junior
Anthony Colasanti was named to the Peach Belt Conference's Men's Cross Country All-Academic Team, which was released Friday afternoon by conference officials.
To be eligible for the All-Academic team, a student-athlete must 1) participate in at least half of his/her team's events and either be a starter or significant contributor; 2) achieved a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) and 3) completed at least one full academic year at his or her current institution. The Peach Belt Conference Sports Information Directors oversee and select the teams.
Colasanti receives his second academic all-conference award. He is a strategic communications/public relations major at Flagler. Colasanti has ran in all four races and posted a personal-best 8K time of 25:20 at the Royals Challenge. He is a three-time PBC Presidential Honor Roll scholar.
The Flagler men's cross country team will participate in the Peach Belt Conference Championship on Nov. 3 at Beech Island, South Carolina.
