FLORENCE, S.C. –
Oscar Davidsson scored the golden goal just 2-minutes and 23-seconds into overtime to power Flagler College past Francis Marion University in a Peach Belt Conference men's soccer match Wednesday afternoon at Hartzler Field.
Flagler snapped a three-match winless streak to improve to 4-8-1 overall and evened its Peach Belt record at 3-3-0. Francis Marion lost its sixth match in a row and dropped to 6-9-0 overall and 1-6-0 in conference play.

Quam Salami's cross found Davidsson inside the box to slot the goal that ended the match.
Davidsson scored the equalizer in the 59
th minute when he knocked in a shot at close range on the right wing.
Levin Sandmann of Francis Marion gave the Patriots the lead with his goal in the 25
th minute.
Iwan Roberts recorded two saves for the Saints while his counterpart, Raul Guillamon Bejar tallied seven saves for the Patriots.
Flagler held a 13-8 advantage in shots, and had the lone one in overtime. Francis Marion had three corner kicks while Flagler had one.
The Patriots committed 15 of the 28 fouls in the match and were issued five cards, including a red (which was the player's second yellow). Francis Marion played a man down since the 78
th minute.
Flagler concludes the regular season on Saturday (Oct. 28) at 3:30 p.m. against Clayton State University at Saints Field. Before the match Flagler will honor its seniors.
