DAHLONEGA, Ga. – Matt Clark led five Flagler College players in double-figures with 20 points, but it wasn't enough as the University of North Georgia won 104-87 in a mutual Peach Belt Conference opener Thursday night at Memorial Hall.

North Georgia snapped a three-game losing streak and improved to 3-7 overall and 1-0 in the Peach Belt. Flagler lost its second game in a row and fell to 4-5 overall and 0-1 in conference play.

Williams tacked on 15 points and seven rebounds. Tanner Plemmons and Tyre Gathright combined to score 22 points, 11 apiece. Tyler Dominy tallied six assists.

North Georgia made its first five shots from the field and only trailed twice in the game. The Nighthawks sizzled in the second half as they made 64.3% (18-28) of their shots. North Georgia also made 85.7% (30-35) of its free throw attempts, including 20-of-22 in the first half.

Keshaun Hamilton added 16 points for Flagler while Nick Grier also tallied 16 points and tacked on five rebounds. Ben Bobbitt chipped in with 13 points while Vaughn McCall finished with 10.
