Are you interested in becoming a member of the 2013-14 Flagler College Dance Team? If the answer is yes, then please continue on and read the material below.

Audition Requirements
Below is a list of items that applicants will be required to bring with them to the audition.  Failure to complete required paperwork or bring necessary items may result in your being withheld from the audition.  The pre-audition clinic will be held in the Flagler College Gymnasium on Sunday, Sept. 1 from 6-8:30 p.m. The audition will be held Saturday, Sept. 7 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

1) Walk-on Participant packet completed and turned into Jennifer Rinnert, Senior Women's Administrator.  If you have had a physical completed within the last six (6) months will satisfy that physical requirement in the packet, but please bring a copy to Mrs. Rinnert. 3) Nude or black jazz shoes/boots/or sneakers.  No dance paws or bare feet will be permitted.

4) Water bottle and/or a light snack

Team Requirements
If selected as a member of the 2013-2014 Flagler College Dance Team, each participant will be responsible for providing the following items:

1) $100 non-refundable team fee

2) black and nude jazz slip on jazz shoes.  No boots/sneakers or shoes with a tie. 

3) Tan and black tights (non-shiny)

4) Proper undergarments for all uniform pieces


If you are selected for the Flagler College 2013-2014 Dance Team please keep in mind your primary health insurance coverage requirements will be as follows…

• You policy must cover athletic injuries
• Have a maximum benefit per incident/injury/illness of at least $90,000
• Be portable (must provide coverage even if the student-athlete is not residing in the state the policy was purchased)
• Be underwritten by a US based company 

All student-athletes are required to have primary health insurance coverage that meets federal standards, standards established by the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) and the insurance company through which the policy is underwritten must be chartered in the United States.

*Tricare or Medicaid coverage does not meet the standards required for a student-athlete to participate in Flagler College Athletics. 

If your current primary health insurance coverage does not meet the previously listed criteria, please consider enrolling in the Bollinger Student Health plan or enroll in a primary health insurance plan that meets these requirements. The cost of the Bollinger Student Health plan for the 2013-2014 coverage period (8/1/2013-7/31/2014) is $1,459.00.
