SPOKANE, Wash. – Sara Mund was Flagler College's top finisher at the NCAA Division II National Championships at the Plantes Ferry Athletic Complex on a cool (28 degrees) Saturday morning. She completed the 6K course in 23:15.9 and finished in 167th place.

Flagler finished 32nd as a team in its first appearance at the NCAA Division II National Championships. 

Hanna Ramirez finished not too far behind Mund with a time of 23:27.3 and she finished in 180th place. Taylor Strekel finished in 205th place with a time of 23:57.1. Lauren Rodriguez crossed the finish line at 24:21.6 to finish in 219th place while Kerry Calkins followed almost six seconds behind at 24:27.5 and came in 221st place.

Jennifer Agnew of the University of Mary led the 244-woman field with a time of 20:50.7. She cruised to the finish as Jessica Macy of Pittsburg State University finished second at 21:02.1.

Gran Valley State University won the team title, its third in the last four years, with 54 points. The Lakers had three runners finish in the top 20. Adams State University finished a distant second with 91 points.
