Box Score ST. AUGUSTINE – No. 4 (Campbell's/ITA Division II) Concordia College of New York defeated No. 11 Flagler College 6-3 in a non-conference men's tennis match Wednesday afternoon at the Flagler Tennis Center. 

Concordia evened its overall record at 3-3 while Flagler fell to 4-5.

Flagler opened the day by taking a 2-1 lead after doubles play wrapped up. Jose Martinez (Houston, Texas, Alpha Omega Academy) and Gino Ramirez (Pembroke Pines, Fla., Dr. Michael Krop HS) teamed at No. 1 doubles for a 9-7 win over Benas Majauskas and Tomasz Olfans. Inigo Landaluce and Uriel Oquendo (Miramar, Fla., Broward Virtual School) downed Daniele Piludu and Geza Bazula 8-5 at No. 2 doubles.

Only Landaluce was able to win in singles. He bested Andreas Lindell 7-5 and 7-6 at No. 3.  

Flagler will travel to Americus on Friday (Mar. 9) for a Peach Belt Conference match against Georgia Southwestern State University at 10 a.m.
