Box Score ST. AUGUSTINE – Army defeated No. 11 (Campbell's/ITA Division II) Flagler College 5-4 in a non-conference men's tennis match Tuesday afternoon at the Flagler Tennis Center. 

Army improved to 8-7 on the season while Flagler fell to 5-7.

Army opened the day by winning two of the three doubles matches. Adam Hunt (Woking, England, Mercer University) and Skyler Engel (New Albany, Ohio, Univ. of Toledo) salvaged the doubles matches for Flagler with a 9-8 (8-6) win over Rommel Verano and Alex Holland at No. 3.

Hunt and Uriel Oquendo (Miramar, Fla., Broward Virtual School) posted straight set wins in singles play. Hunt defeated Holland 6-4 and 6-3 at No. 3 while Oquendo bested Henry Jang-Milsten 6-4 and 6-4 at No. 5. Jose Martinez (Houston, Texas, Alpha Omega Academy) outlasted Askia Isoh 6-4, 6-7, and 6-4 at No. 1. 

Flagler will be back in action on Mar. 22 against Queens College of New York at the Flagler Tennis Center.
