MIAMI SHORES, Fla. –Eighteenth-ranked (NCAA Division II) Barry University blanked Flagler College 5-0 Saturday afternoon at the Buccaneer Tennis Center.

Barry (8-6) swept all three doubles flights and clinched the match with wins at Nos. 1 and 2 singles.

Ildiko Csordas and Berit Peterson teamed to defeat Chelsi de Cuba (Fort Pierce, Fla.) and Maria Ospina (Oldsmar, Fla.) 8-0 at No. 1 doubles while Laime Contreras and Saskia Kruse downed Chelsea Maratta (Winter Park, Fla.) and Leigh Ann Moss (Fort Pierce, Fla.) 8-4 at No. 2 doubles. Helen Wisniewski and Svetlana Konyashkina completed the doubles sweep by beating Allison Hess (Panama City Beach, Fla.) and Monica Burbelo (Westerly, R.I.), 8-2.

Csordas defeated Maratta in straight sets, 6-1 and 6-0, at No. 1 singles while Wisniewski swept Moss 6-2, 6-0. 

Flagler College closes out its season with a 4-9 record.
