Cassidy Bloom of the volleyball team was selected as Academy Bus Athlete of the Week for the period ending Sept. 14.

The Naples, Fla. native competed in the Bahama House Classic which featured matches against No. 6 Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU) , Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University , Sioux Falls University and Montevallo University. Through four matches, Bloom finished with 12 aces, finding four in each of their final three matches. Against Embry-Riddle, Bloom lead the Saints in kills with 15 while finding nine digs.
