Tomas Cavanagh of the men's golf team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week for the period ending March 10.

Cavanagh finished in a tie for fifth place at the Bearcat Classic with a 10-under par 206. His first round score, a 7-under 65, was the second-best individual round (strokes) by a Flagler player in the history of the program. The Buenos Aires, Argentina native finished with a 69 and 72 in the other two rounds. Cavanagh helped the team finish in third place with a 28-under 836. The team's first round tally of 272 was the second-best single-round score in program history and the 54-hole score and relative to par score were also second-best in Flagler history.
