Marcus Hedemann of the men's soccer team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week for the period ending Sept. 10.

Hedemann scored a pair of goals this past week for the Saints. The Hillerød, Denmark native scored his first goal for the Crimson & Gold and gave Flagler a 4-1 lead against Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Hedemann scored the lone Flagler goal last Saturday at No. 5 Florida Tech.

Hedemann leads the team with two goals and four points. He is fifth in the Peach Belt Conference in points per game (1.33) and eighth in goals per game (.667).
