Flagler College Athletics

Lexie Morton of the women's lacrosse team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week for the period ending April 16.

The Milton, Georgia native scored nine goals and tallied four assists to help lead No. 11 (IWLCA Division II Top 25) Flagler College to a 2-0 week. She scored five goals and had one assist to help Flagler rally past The University of Alabama in Huntsville, 15-12. Morton added four goals and three assists the next day in a 24-7 rout of Shorter University.

Morton leads the Gulf South Conference in goals per game (3.93) and shots per game (7.79) and is second in the league in points per game (4.64). She ranks sixth in Division II in free-position goals per game (1.36) and goals per game. Morton ranks eighth in the nation in shots per game.
