Stella Jelinek of the women's golf team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Feb. 26.

The Leimen, Germany native finished in fifth place at the Lady Moc Golf Classic with a 3-under par 213 (72-72-69). Jelinek had 12 birdies in the tournament including six in the final round. Her final round 69 was her best score this season. Jelinek's top-five finish was the fifth time in six tournaments played this season. She is ranked No. 3 in in the nation in NCAA Division II.

For the season, Jelinek leads the Peach Belt Conference with a 72.69 strokes per round average.
