Gage Voorhees of the baseball team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week for the period ending Mach 6.

Voorhees tossed a complete game two-hit shutout against Augusta University last Friday night. He finished with a career-high 13 strikeouts. Voorhees retired the last 25-of-27 batters he faced.

He holds a 2-1 record with a 1.54 earned run average through five starts this season. Voorhees leads the staff with 39 strikeouts in 35 innings pitched.
