Andrea Fernandez of the women's soccer team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week following the period ending Nov. 21.

This is the third time she has won the weekly award and second week in a row. 

The freshman from Pozoblanco, Spain scored two goals and tallied three assists last weekend in Flagler's two win in the NCAA Tournament. Fernandez scored the first goal of the match and assisted on the eventual game-winning goal in the 2-1 win over UNC Pembroke last Friday. She scored a goal and tallied two assists in Flagler's 4-1 romp over top-seed Columbus State.

For the season, Fernandez has scored 17 goals and tallied 15 assists for 49 points. She currently stands in third place in the program's history for most goals scored in a season and second in assists in points. Fernandez is third in the nation in assists, fourth in points, and ninth in goals.
