Chris Metzger of the men's basketball team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Dec. 6.

The senior forward from Plantation, Florida had a career night in Flagler College's 92-73 rout of NCAA Division I member Central Michigan University last Tuesday. Metzger poured in 26 points and made 13-of-15 from the field to pace the Saints. He also grabbed seven rebounds. He scored 18 points in the second half. Flagler dominated in the paint out-scoring Central Michigan 60-22.

Metzger and the Saints take on another DI school in Furman University on Saturday at Greenville, South Carolina.
