Gedi Juozapaitis of the men's basketball team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Dec. 22.
Juozapaitis averaged 18.0 points and 13.0 rebounds per game in the three games the Saints played in last week. He made 42.1 percent (16-38) of his shots from the field and 45.5 percent (10-22) from behind the arc. The sophomore from London, England grabbed a career-high 22 rebounds, and added 22 points, in a 98-96 overtime win at Georgia College. He also tied career highs in assists (5) and blocked shots (3) last Monday vs. William Jessup.Â
For the season, Juozapaitis is averaging 18.7 points and 10.0 rebounds per game, both of which leads the team. His 14 blocked shots leads the club as does his 41 made 3-pointers. Â
