Dan McGuire of the men's soccer team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Sept. 29.

McGuire had a massive game Saturday night as he scored three goals and added three assists as Flagler rolled to an 8-1 win of Trinity Baptist College. The nine points for McGuire tied for the second-most ever recorded by a Flagler player in a match. His three assists tied for third for a match.

The Durham, England native currently leads the team in goals (4), assists (4), and points (12). McGuire is second in the Peach Belt Conference in assists and points, and fourth in goals scored.

Flagler hosts Nova Southeastern University on Tuesday (Oct. 1) at 6:30 p.m. at Saints Field.
