Flagler College Athletics

Lukas Storck of the men's tennis team was named as the Athlete of the Month, sponsored by Sleep Inn, for the month of May.

He was selected as the athlete of the week for the period ending May 13.

Storck closed out his distinguished career at Flagler with a win in singles at the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional against No. 8 Lander University. He knocked off the nation's No. 50-ranked player in Alex Cronje, 6-2 and 7-5. Storckis ranked No. 62 in singles. Carvalho and Storck, ranked No. 47 in doubles, held a 4-3 lead in their match before it was stopped after Lander clinched the team point.
