Robert Girgis of the baseball team was selected as the Sizzlin' Saint award recipient, sponsored by Applebee's, for the month of February.

“Robert brings awesome energy to the ball field everyday either at practice or during games," said assistant coach/pitching coach Jeff Pelkey. "He is a competitive student-athlete on and off the field. He has a special passion for pitching and the game of baseball. Robert has stepped up in some big situations during the season to lead the Flagler Baseball team to victory and lifts others up whether he’s pitching or not.  I am proud of what Robert has done so far and I expect  continuous success from him as well as the pitching staff/the entire team.”

“Robert has been outstanding this year," said head coach Dave Barnett. "He is a great competitor and has carried our team so far in conference.”
