Gedi Juozapaitis of the men's basketball team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Jan. 20.

This is the second time this season he has received this honor.

Juozapaitis averaged a team-high 25.0 points and 15.0 rebounds per game for Flagler. He made 67.9 percent of his shots from the field, including shooting at a 57.1 percent clip from 3-point range. Against No. 7 (NABC Top 25) USC Aiken, Juozapaitis scored a season-high 31 points and grabbed 19 rebounds in an overtime loss. He made 12-of-17 from the field. Against Young Harris, Juozapaitis recorded his fifth double-double with 19 points and he grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds. He is third in the PBC in rebounding (8.2 rpg).
