Tiffany Hodge of the women's basketball team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Dec 17.

The Longwood, Florida native scored a team-high 17 points and completed her second double-double of the season with 11 rebounds to help lead Flagler to its first-ever win over the University of North Georgia in 16 tries. Hodge had a double-double in the second half alone as she scored 15 points and grabbed 10 boards. She scored 10 of Flagler's 27 points in the third quarter.

Hodge shot 77.8 percent (7-9) from the field and added three assists as well as two steals. 

She is seventh in the Peach Belt Conference in rebounds per game and ninth in field goal percentage.
